FINALLY........PICTURES!

SOOOOOO, here I am again! Did you miss me? Here is a little
update on part of our summer.
Logan improved her handwriting in school by the end of 1st grade,
so we said she could go to seven peaks. She worked really hard the
whole last semester to improve her grade to the highest level. We
were so proud! Me and Logan had a great time, but got a little fried!
This was toward the end of June.



Here we are at Payson Lakes on the 4th of July

we had a fun surprise visit from Kathryn (my sis)



Sometime around the end of July, we had a little family
campout up Payson Canyon! It's so beautiful up there.
I always forget how cold it gets there, even in the middle
of the summer! We had a fun time anyway!




Celebrating James' 34th birthday on August 2. His parents
came down to our house and joined us for dinner and cake
and ice cream! He got a new dutch oven, some clothes, and
a gift card to Cabela's! Another great day!


The week before school started, we made a quick trip to
California to mom and dad's for our FIRST HEATON
FAMILY REUNION!! Here we are at the sacramento
railroad museum! Very fun, and educational. Kids loved
it too!



We stayed at mom and dad's for 4 days and stayed two nights
at Bodega Bay in a fun beach house. Here we are at the beach
and there is also a picture of our house! There were crafts, games,
pictures, shopping, playing at the beach, and lots of fun family
bonding!! I hope we can continue our HEATON family reunions
very often in the future!






We decided to take a quick day trip down to S.F. since we were
so close. It was fun to walk around the pier and see the sea lions
and do a little shopping. Most of all, the chocolate heaven store was
my favorite!! I paid $5 for a giant chocolate turtle. No calories
when you are on vacation right?!! Fun times!!


AND here we have our big 2ND GRADER!!! This
was the first day of school!! She was so excited, and is
loving school so far. She has a great teacher and is making
lots of new friends. We are proud of her for doing so
well!


When I can get James to help me find the rest of my summer
pics, I'll be updating again soon!! I didn't realize how much I
missed blogging!

Happy Birthday James!!

It's James' birthday today!! He really is the best husband and father! We love him so much and want everyone to know it's his special day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!!!

Also, we got the card reader installed, and a new external hard drive to store our pics, so there may be pics coming soon??!! We'll see. I know you are all not holding your breath!!

New calling

I was released from activity days leader today(which I will miss a ton), and was called to be a nursery teacher. I'm pretty excited about it. It was my first day today, and all went well. All the kids are really cute, but I do need to spruce up the room. It's kind of boring. Any fun ideas?

Hey all you CRAFTY LADIES!!

My very creative and awesome sisters in law, and I are setting up a booth at the Payson High School South County Community Yard-Craft Sale, and we would love to see you there! We are selling the awesome products that we also advertise on our Etsy website. Girls flower hair clips, baby blankets, burp clothes, jewelry, reusable shopping bags, dollhouses, little girls dresses, and more!! It's on SATURDAY JUNE 20TH from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, in the south parking lot of Payson High. It's free to get in, and the director of the sale says he has sold over 55 booths, and that it has been a wonderful event in the past! The weather is supposed to be very warm and sunny as well, so I hope to see all of my blogging buddies there!!

Help needed

I cannot figure out what happened with my camera and computer. For anyone who really knows me, they know I don't have many computer skills. So if you can help me figure out how to make my pictures download onto the computer, that would be great. I used to be able to plug my camera into the computer and turn the camera on and the aquire wizard (or whatever it's called) would just recognize what I was doing and basically just lead me through what I needed to do. Now when I turn the camera on, that doesn't come up anymore! Somebody please help. I was finally getting it down. I really need to post Logan's b-day pictures, before it seems way too late!!
James has already tried helping, so now I'm really outta luck.
