New calling

I was released from activity days leader today(which I will miss a ton), and was called to be a nursery teacher. I'm pretty excited about it. It was my first day today, and all went well. All the kids are really cute, but I do need to spruce up the room. It's kind of boring. Any fun ideas?

My friend decorated her children's rooms with coloring pages she and her husband colored, then framed. Pretty cute. You could do the same with churchy themed stuff and just laminate them. In our old nursery we had a huge three and each child had an apple with their name on it that velcroed onto the tree that they put on first thing they came in. They thought it was pretty fun. We had our first time in the new ward today and on taking Lyza to nursery there was a sign that said, "Nursery has been cancelled today, sorry for the inconvenience." Who cancels nursery? We had to leave early cause there is no way Lyza would last another two hours!! Good luck, I love nursery!

Jana i heard that and was so surprised! That is wonderful, and I think you'll love primary, but I know that those girls will miss you so much! You were so good at that calling. As for decorating, I've got that machine to cut out big ol' letters for you - or designs etc. Just let me know! I'm going to check out your etsy shop now!
