A new place we call home

our new house I cannot for the life of me figure out the new blogger format. I try to label pics above or below and it throws the whole layout off. I am super computer savvy as you can tell. Well, from top to bottom there is the family room, kitchen, extra room for the computer/crafts, sierra's room, girls bathroom, living room in the basement, Logan and Autumn's room, unfinished basement, the back yard, our bedroom and the view from our deck. That's about all I have for now in a nutshell. We love it and we are SOOOO happy to be here. We are still really out of sorts but slowly getting back to the normal. It's so nice to have more space for the kids to run and play. They are loving it!

Autumn started Kindergarten today! I'm so happy and excited for her. I know she will have a lot of fun, and she has a great teacher. I was so sad to see her go, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I actually took her to school instead of sending her on the bus and I think that helped me. She will get to ride the bus home though. She wanted to ride it, but she doesn't have the option because we are moving in a few weeks and we will be on the other side of the boundaries that doesn't have to bus route. Soon, both girls will be walking! I cried when I got home from dropping her off, but it will be pretty nice to put Sierra down for a nap and have the older two at school, not going to lie! Logan on her first day of 5th grade (one week ago). She is excited and really likes her teacher and her class. I think she is going to have fun being the bigger sister at school and helping out little Autumn finding her way to the bus and such. She is a good big sister! Good luck to both my girls in school this year! You will both do great!

Payson Temple Progress

Things are starting to peak up over the fence now! I just learned last week in relief society that we can take kids over to the site and a missionary couple can take them out to an observation deck and you can see the progress much better. They will also give each child a picture of the temple, so I think I am going to take them over there soon! Pretty exciting! These pictures were all taken about 2 weeks ago.

Happy 37th Birthday James!

Seemed like just another day, where we both had to work, but he doesn't care. He was happy with no matter what we did for him. I ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to make a dinner for him before work, and only got about half of it done. The cake was made, and the presents were wrapped, so hopefully that counted for something :) He's an amazing husband and father. We 4 crazy girls are lucky to have him! Love you James!

To grandmother (and grandfathers) house we go

At the end of July we took a trip to mom and dad's for a week and a half. It was great to have everyone there. Kathryn came with us and Bren and Krista were there with their kids too. The hot spot was the pool, for the majority of the trip! We also went to visit Annie and all her furry friends. Bill was at work, but they did come over quite a few times to spend time with us. We also celebrated Bill's birthday while we were home, and Mom and Dad's 37th anniversary. The kids all we to a ward primary activity that was like the kids olympics. I think they older ones pretended it was lame, and the younger ones had fun. Oh well, it was something for them to do :) Next up: California State Fair Super hot, crowed, and expensive, didn't make for the best circumstance for all the kiddos. We got to see a lot of cool stuff though. It was fun for them at first, but they were ready to go by the end. Grandma paid for all the grandkids to go to this awesome trampoline/ foam pit jumping place. The kids all had a great time! I got to go to the train museum in Old town Sacramento with my two older girls and with my friend Karen and her son Quinten. It's fun to see the trains up close and go inside them too! Her little boy is obsessed with trains now, so he had a blast. Cute boy! We had a picnic lunch outside the museum and then visited the candy shop. I even got to sneak out for a movie with Kathryn one night! Me and my two younger girls had lunch at Andrea Brookes (sister in law/friend i grew up with) house with all my friends from high school. It was so fun to have almost all of our kids there playing together. That was a first for us! Sad I didn't get any pictures of that. We had a wonderful visit and hope to go home and visit again soon!
