Does this girl like drawers or what?

Autumn isn't quite walking on her own yet, but she does love to climb on anything she can. Stairs, couches, drawers, boxes, you name it, she's up them or in them!! She is really going to be keeping us on our toes now. We got used to Logan being a little older and not into so much stuff. Little ones are so much work, but still fun. They are both such a blessing and we love our girls so much!

Kindergarten Graduate

My how time flies! It seems only yesterday I was crying because Logan was getting on the bus to go to her first day of school. On Thursday, May 22, I was crying because she was getting on the bus for the last time this year.
Her graduation was full of cute songs and stories of things that they learned during the year. At the end they got to walk across the stage to their teacher and receive their diplomas! It was so cute and fun to watch! Congrats to Logan!
She did so well this year and her teacher, Ms. Miller, was awesome. She said Logan was ready and will do fabulous in first grade. Logan was also selected to be student of the month back in November 2007, and we are very proud of her!! We hope this paves the way for many more great school years for her. Her grandma and grandpa Brookes got to come and see the graduation also, and we are glad they could come!!Here comes Logan to pick up her diploma! What a cutie!!
Logan is front and center with some of her classmates while they are all coming on stage to start the program!

Logan's 6th Birthday!!

Tuesday, May 13, Logan celebrated her 6th birthday. She was so excited about opening her gifts that she had to do it first thing in the morning. She simply could not wait for dad to get home from work, but I didn't have the heart to have him miss that. The girls were up at 6:30 which made for a VERY long day! Presents open by 7:00 am. The morning flew by since she had her presents to play with. Then Autumn and I took treats over to Logan's kindergarten class. She passed out a pack of starburst and a ring pop to each kid, and they sang happy birthday to her while she stood at the front of the class wearing an adorable birthday crown. I was so happy that she told me her favorite part of the day was me bringing treats to her class. She knows how to make my heart melt. It was really fun to do that for her!
After school she helped me clean up the house (yes, I know on her b-day, how horrible am I?) but we had grandma and grandpa Brookes coming over for dinner. She chose Wendy's for dinner, which I thought was funny, but that's what she wanted.
After dinner, we had her cake and ice cream. All in all, I think she had a really great day. She said her favorite present was a hula hoop that I got her. I was shocked at how well she can shake those hips and move that hula hoop around. It's so funny to see. She keeps us laughing! SO happy hooping to LOGAN! We love you!
Blowing out 6 candlesJob well done!look at all my presents! I'm such a lucky girl!this was my favorite b-day presenthere is Logan in her birthday crown enjoying her cake

Jenica & Tylers wedding

On Friday, May 9th we went to my cousin Jenica's wedding! She looked beautiful and the reception and the dinner the night before was just beautiful and so fun! It was so fun to see them be sealed in the Salt Lake temple. They looked so happy and in love! Congrats guys!! It was also sort of a mini family reunion. It was so fun to see our family come together for the occasion, though we did miss some family members that couldn't make it.

strep AGAIN

Yes, I got it again. For those of you keeping track, that is 4 times in just over a year. What a major bummer huh? I'm wondering if there are any of you bloggers who have had your tonsils removed, and if there are any cons to it. The dr told me yesterday that there are no "medical studies" that prove it makes you sick less often, but just from everyone he talks to, they are sick less often, or if they do get strep again, it is way less painful. This was my dr.'s p.a. that I saw yesterday cause my dr had the day off, and my p.c.p. seemed a little hesitant the last time I asked him about getting them removed because it puts you down and out for at least a week, but aren't I already down and out for a couple of days each time I get strep?
The last two days have been purely miserable, but I am feeling much better today. Thank goodness, because we have a wedding dinner for my cousin tonight, and her wedding tomorrow!! Any comments welcome about having tonsils out!!

babies babies & more babies

Yesterday we went to our nephews baby blessing and there were 3 others in the ward being blessed also. We know two friends in our ward that blessed their babies yesterday too. James
was at our sacrament meeting yesterday, so he was in attendance for six blessings yesterday.
Wow! Utah Valley really is the baby making capital!! We will be going to another niece and nephew blessing soon!
It was fun to get together and have dinner at James' sister's house after church was over. We are grateful to have so many family members around, and we love seeing them!
